By accessing or using followupexpo.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

Use of the Service

FollowUpExpo provides an AI-powered platform for:

• Scanning business card photos and extracting structured contact data (name, title, company, email, phone, website, address) using OCR
• Exporting contacts to Excel, CSV, and CRM-compatible formats (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Google Contacts, Outlook)
• Generating personalized trade show follow-up emails using AI

You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

1. Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information during registration.

2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Responsibilities: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through FollowUpExpo — including AI models, OCR technology, email generation systems, and documentation — is protected under copyright law and owned by followupexpo.com.

• You retain full ownership of the contact data extracted from your scanned business cards and any follow-up emails you generate.
• You grant FollowUpExpo a limited, temporary license to process your uploaded card images solely for the purpose of OCR extraction. Card images are deleted immediately after processing.
• The FollowUpExpo platform, AI models, and underlying technology remain our exclusive property.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Upload business card images you do not have the right to process
• Use the service to collect or process contact data in violation of applicable privacy laws (including GDPR)
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass any part of the service
• Use the service to generate spam, unsolicited bulk email, or deceptive communications
• Resell or redistribute the service or its outputs without written permission
• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights

Privacy and Data Handling

FollowUpExpo is designed with privacy-first principles:

• Card images are deleted immediately after OCR extraction — no original images are stored
• Extracted contact data is encrypted at rest and never sold to third parties
• Follow-up email inputs are processed transiently and not retained after generation
• We are fully GDPR compliant

Pricing and Payments

• Paid plans and credit purchases are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice to users
• You agree to pay all charges associated with your selected plan
• Unused credits expire according to the terms of your selected plan
• Free credits are provided for evaluation purposes and may be subject to usage limits

Commercial Use

Contacts exported and emails generated through FollowUpExpo may be used for lawful commercial purposes, including:

• CRM import and pipeline management
• Direct sales outreach and trade show follow-up
• Team-based lead management and reporting
• Any other lawful B2B business development activities

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of exported contact data and generated emails complies with applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.) and the terms under which those contacts were collected.

Data You Upload

• You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process any business card images submitted to the service
• You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from contacts whose business cards you scan, as required by applicable law
• FollowUpExpo will not use your uploaded card images or extracted contact data for any purpose other than providing the service to you

Service Limitations

• Supported card image formats: JPG, PNG, PDF
• Batch processing limits vary by plan
• OCR accuracy exceeds 99% on standard printed cards; results on damaged, handwritten, or very low-quality images may vary
• Service availability is provided on a best-efforts basis; we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the service, or third parties. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service and disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. While our AI OCR engine exceeds 99% accuracy on standard business cards, we do not guarantee that all extracted data will be complete or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, followupexpo.com shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of leads, business opportunities, data, or revenue.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FollowUpExpo, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights (including privacy rights of contacts whose cards you scan).

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or via an in-product notice. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
